"LOGIHQ Day 2014" celebrated...

We at LOGIHQ conducted our Annual CSR event for the year 2014 in a school in Jaipur.
The activity was successfully carried out in a school for the underprivileged.

Each year LOGIHQ conducts a creativity camp in a school for the underprivileged in any part of India. The first LOGIHQ Day event was conducted in 2012 in a school near Lucknow, the second one in 2013 in a school in Dehradun and the third one in 2014 in a school in Jaipur.

The aim of this activity to generate "Intellectual Happiness" (IH)  for underprivileged children all over India. Each student of the school participates in the camp.

Public Speaking Sessions......................

Hi All !!

You already know about my venture LOGIHQ which is into Training & Publishing. The publishing arm helps writers/poets, specially first-time writers and unpublished writers to publish their books. A number of writers have used this opportunity to publish their writings as books and have achieved "Intellectual Happiness" (IH), which is the motto of LOGIHQ. We are based in New Delhi. The training arm of LOGIHQ is into training people in various areas, ranging from Intellectual Property Rights (IPRs), Entrepreneurship, Motivation, Personality Development etc. Soon we will be starting training sessions in "Public Speaking".

You maybe in any age group and any category, but oratory skills are important for all. Whether you are students or working professionals, whether you aspire to work in the corporate sector or in the entertainment industry, the art of public speaking will stand you in good stead.   

You may have all the technical knowledge & expertise required for your job/work, but the moment you are asked to present something in front of an audience which may comprise of just a few people, you get the jitters. You know everything but you are extremely nervous and cannot deliver the presentation. Or you make a mess of it just because you don't have the confidence of speaking in public. This may lead to further loss of confidence. and the situation may only get worse with the passage of time and you may ultimately avoid a situation where you need to face the public or make a presentation.

Now, avoidance of the situation is not the answer. The solution lies in building that confidence and gaining expertise in the art of public speaking. This, combined with your already existing knowledge & expertise of your subject matter can then take your success beyond your expectations & limits. Your weak point can be converted into your strength and then there's no looking back. Moreover, this will raise your confidence level many fold and you can soar to greater heights in your career as well as life !!

Read my latest Article titled "Caregivers or 'Scare'givers.....?" published in the September 2014 issue of the DIGNITY DIALOGUE magazine, a publication of the Dignity Foundation.

I am sure most of you will be able to relate to it since it is a scare that our so called "caregivers" or domestic helps give us on a daily basis. Almost everyone needs domestic helpers/ caregivers, specially the elderly population and also people who need 24x7 care and looking after due to different factors. But it is a reality that many times we find ourselves at the mercy of these "caregivers", who even after being paid handsome salaries and everything else, show no sign of commitment or service.

It is indeed a scary scenario...!!
