Meeting Karisma Kapoor at The Japanese Embassy

It was great being invited to the Japanese Ambassador's Residence once again, the day before yesterday. Not that it was  a first attending an event at the Japan Embassy, but what was a first was getting to meet a famous Hindi Film star there.

The event was for the launch reception of "SURAJ: The Rising Star " .

SURAJ, is a TV serial starting this month end on Colors. Had the opportunity of meeting Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor at this function.

This serial is the Indian Version of "Star of Giants", a Japanese show.

Month of Happiness....!!

Hi  !!

have been "Happily" away for quite sometime. and literally too..!!
because the month of October has kept me involved with almost every aspect of Happiness. ..............including the negative ones too.

first was busy with the OECD World Forum on Wellbeing  and immediately after that went off on a visit to the "Happiness Country".......................Bhutan!!   and that was a visit befitting the moment.............after having been in the OECD conference  discussing every......i repeat...every aspect of Happiness, i couldn't have gone to any other place  but that which happens to be the birth place of the concept called Gross National Happiness or GNH for short.

will share with you more about the Bhutan visit later
till then............
be happy.......................

Deleting of author's name from article by WASME

Hi all !!

here's sharing with you an example of blatant misuse of my Article titled

"IPRs- the Lifeline of the SME World Today"  by a wellknown organization by the name of WASME  (World association of Small & Medium Enterprises).

I had written the above mentioned article for the magazine "SME World" and it was published in their issue of September 2009.

A few months back, by chance i came to know that this article of mine (after some deletions ) has been put up on the WASME website

http://www.wasmeinfo.org/IPRs.htm

What is ridiculous is the fact that they have removed my name from the piece. What is even more blatant is the fact that when i learnt of this, i wrote to them informing them that if they wish to carry my article, it has to be along with my name, and they have neither responded to the communication even after so many wks nor added my name to my article.

I even called up their office  to talk to the relevant person, but he was away on leave.

Till date, i have not heard from them , ....not even an apology ..leave alone carrying my name with my article. But they are still making use of the article.

What kind of knowledge about IPRs are they trying to give people if they themselves are balatantly infringing on others' Intellectual Property Rights ?

OMG & MG

saw the movie OMG this saturday.
couldn't  have agreed more with the main protagonist (Played brilliantly by Paresh Rawal) !!
in fact this is precisely the point of view taken by me in my book

"You Connecting With .....Y.O U !!" that i came out with last year.

and.....

will share with you what actually happened with us after the movie....... just to prove the point correct.

and there still remain some questions even Akshay Kumar ( playing God)  may not be able to answer.....because these questions will have to be answered by the Great Lord Himself !!

Internet connectivity is fine, but what about ..... GOD connectivity...?????

                                                                   "Guru Plus......????"

Hi all !!
Are you the internet type, i mean always glued to the net, for some reason or the other ? actually one can't avoid this in these times. you do have to keep connecting to the internet every now & then, for various reasons.  Fine. but how often do you find time to connect to GOD...? have you tried connecting with the Almighty? well if you haven't had the time or the thought or simply didn't know how, read this latest article of mine published in the Focus Global Reporter, June 2012 issue.
Happy reading..............and happy connecting..!!!!//best//mg

A “Guru +” for your Connectivity with God

Manisha Gupta

As usual, I wanted to start my work day today by checking my e-mails. I connected the the Tata Photon in an effort to connect with the internet. No response. Tried quite a number of times, connecting then disconnecting and reconnecting again. But to no avail. Then tried my Reliance Netconnect. Somehow it seemed to go through immediately. But later, again some connectivity problems occurred. Then I tried a photon +. Things finally worked out for some uninterrupted duration of work.

This set me thinking- Of our connectivity with The Almighty. If we equate God to the internet then a Guru can be equated to an internet data card. Because he helps you connect with God. Just like you cannot connect to the internet without a data card, you cannot connect to the Lord without a Guru. But, just like which data card works well with your computer, it is for you to realize and decide which Guru may work for you.

But in case you have a wi-fi connection, that is you are part of a system, even without a card, you can get connectivity. Parallel to this, if you are part of a group who is spiritually connected then probably your connection with God can be established through that wi-fi.

Now, in any case it is your decision how you want to establish a connectivity. But, at the same time, you also have to be sure of which Guru, or rather what kind of Guru is going to be the right one for you. Like if an ordinary photon doesn’t work fast to establish an internet connection, then you go in for a photon +, which has more efficiency and power. Similarly, if an ordinary Guru doesn’t seem to work for you, you may go in for a ‘Guru + to enhance your connectivity with the Omnipotent.

After all, your focus is on getting through with the connection…….to God. You don’t want an error message saying -“the… remote… host… did… not… respond”. So why not search for a “Guru +” for better results????
